I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Registered Associate in the State of Oregon. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (healthcare emphasis) at Pace University (expected graduation May 2025) as well as my Professional Counselor License in the State of Oregon. Prior to starting my Ph.D. program, I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with my M.S. in Experimental Psychology as well as Pace University with my M.S. in Clinical Psychology (healthcare emphasis).
I currently serve as a pediatric psycho-oncology neuropsychology and psychotherapy extern at Westchester Medical Center/Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital providing trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing hematology and oncological conditions. I really enjoy working with individuals experiencing chronic health conditions as it allows me to apply my passion for the mind-body connection, trauma-informed care, and person-centered treatment focused on empathy and strength.
I have a strong passion for trauma-informed treatment working with LGBTQIA+ individuals. As a LGBTQIA+ identifying individual, I find it highly rewarding working alongside individuals as they explore their gender and sexuality and processing past traumas. I primarily implement techniques based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in addition to person-centered approaches, allowing me to meet the clients where they are at as well as provide personalized treatment.
Whether you are starting therapy for the first time or are looking for a new therapist, I am eager to collaborate with you on your mental health and overall well-being. I am open to working with individuals across the lifespan experiencing chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma and/or identity concerns in a safe and accepting space.
