Children and adolescents deserve caring and confident counseling. Their challenges may include anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, or stress. I hope to work with the child and the family in order to address these challenges in a way that is affirming for them and leads
to long-lasting mental health and wellness. Understanding that children from diverse backgrounds face unique challenges, I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for clients while also helping families strengthen their relationships and continue the work at home. I believe that a client’s unique background is a part of their strengths.

I use a method grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients feel understood, build stronger connections, and develop practical tools for managing emotions and everyday challenges. I incorporate research-supported interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs to promote growth, resilience, and lasting change.

I believe that by working together as a team, we can address many different challenges that children may face. I also believe in incorporating your family’s cultural practices into therapy, as my goal is to facilitate treatment that fits into your life long-term. I speak Spanish at a conversational level as well for easier communication outside of session.
