Offering therapy in Somali and Arabic languages!

I am a dedicated and compassionate counselor with a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Portland State University, class of 2023.

My work is deeply rooted in cultural responsiveness and inclusivity. I have extensive experience supporting immigrant and refugee communities, particularly individuals from African backgrounds and those who speak Arabic or Somali. I am committed to creating welcoming and affirming spaces for all clients.

In my counseling practice, I use a blend of Solution-Focused and Client-Centered approaches, always guided by a trauma-informed lens. My goal is to empower clients by helping them build on their strengths, develop resilience, and thrive both emotionally and mentally.
