Experiencing abuse or other trauma at any age can lead to many difficulties – depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, disconnection from self, and more.
The human brain (and body) has the natural ability to heal itself. Sometimes, when we don’t have the time and space to process through it, we get stuck. There are many ways to work through this – therapy being one of them. I strive to provide a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space to be a guide for anyone experiencing these difficulties.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon, with a master’s degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University. I am certified in Brainspotting, which is a somatic (body-focused) trauma treatment aimed to help you process through unresolved stress and trauma. I also use a variety of other modalities when needed, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and elements from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Choosing to engage in therapy is hard. But it can also come with relief, a restored sense of self, and hope. When you are ready to take this step on your healing journey, please reach out. I will be here to walk alongside you.
*Telehealth only. In the exciting process of moving from Michigan to Oregon. In-person will be available June 2025.
