Assessment

Using the MIGDAS-2 (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing Autism Spectrum) and the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised), we deliver thorough, individualized evaluations for adolescents and adults (services for children will be available soon!).

• SCID-5 (Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5): Expertly tailored to distinguish between overlapping symptoms and clarify psychiatric diagnoses.
• SCID-5-PD (Personality Disorders): Comprehensive assessments to identify and differentiate between personality disorders.

KSADS (Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia): Detailed evaluations to identify complex psychiatric conditions in children, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD etc.

• Adolescents: Using KSADS and DIVA-5-Youth, we provide targeted ADHD assessments that consider developmental nuances.
• Adults: Combining the SCID-5 with DIVA-5 (Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults), we ensure thorough and accurate ADHD diagnoses for adults, accounting for developmental history and current functioning.

• Expertise Across the Lifespan: From children to adults, our team adapts assessments to the unique needs of every age group.
• Collaborative Care: We work closely with clients, families, and referring professionals to ensure clear communication and actionable recommendations.
• Holistic Focus: Beyond diagnosis, our assessments provide insights to guide effective treatment and support plans. Following assessment, each client has the opportunity to seek therapeutic services from a skilled, empathetic clinician here at Still Waters Counseling LLC and/or seek naturopathic care from our wonderful Dr. Katherine Hoffman.
